  • 1 unbaked pie crust
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Whisk eggs, sugar, and salt until smooth.
  3. Stir in milk and vanilla gently.
  4. Pour into pie crust and sprinkle with nutmeg if using.
  5. Bake 45–50 minutes until edges are set and center slightly jiggles. Cool completely before slicing.
