- Preheat oven to 350°F and blind bake the pie crust until lightly golden.
- Heat milk and cream gently in a saucepan until warm.
- Whisk sugar and eggs together, then slowly add warm milk mixture.
- Stir in caramel sauce and vanilla, then strain the custard.
- Pour custard into crust and bake 35–40 minutes until just set.
- Cool completely, then chill at least 4 hours before serving.
