Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup milk or yogurt
  • 1 cup chopped peaches
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar (for cream cheese layer)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a loaf pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt together.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until light, then add eggs and vanilla.
  4. Stir in milk or yogurt, then add dry ingredients just until combined.
  5. Fold in peaches gently.
  6. Mix cream cheese with sugar until smooth.
  7. Pour batter into pan, add cream cheese mixture, and swirl gently.
  8. Bake 50–55 minutes until set. Cool before slicing.

Notes
