Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups mashed sweet potatoes
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp baking powder

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a baking dish.
  2. Mix mashed sweet potatoes with sugar, butter, spices, and vanilla.
  3. Whisk flour, baking powder, milk, and remaining butter to form batter.
  4. Pour batter into dish, then spoon sweet potato mixture on top without stirring.
  5. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and set.
