Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 cups diced apples
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tbsp milk for glaze
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Method
 

  1. Whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl.
  2. Beat eggs, milk, and melted butter together, then combine with dry ingredients.
  3. Fold in diced apples until evenly distributed.
  4. Scoop batter onto a lined baking sheet and bake at 375°F for 18–20 minutes.
  5. Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make glaze. Drizzle over warm fritters.
