Ingredients
  

  • 3 lb pork belly or brisket point, cubed
  • 2 tbsp barbecue rub
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 0.75 cup barbecue sauce
  • 4 tbsp butter, cubed
  • 0.25 cup Jack Daniel’s whiskey

Method
 

  1. Season meat with barbecue rub and cook low and slow until tender.
  2. Cut meat into cubes and place in a foil pan.
  3. Add brown sugar, butter, barbecue sauce, and whiskey. Toss to coat.
  4. Return to heat and cook uncovered until glaze thickens and caramelizes.
