Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream, warmed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Method
 

  1. Heat sugar in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until melted and amber.
  2. Carefully add butter and stir until fully melted and smooth.
  3. Slowly pour in warm cream while stirring continuously.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
  5. Let cool slightly before serving or storing.
