Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 3 cups peaches, sliced
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and melt butter in a baking dish.
  2. Sprinkle brown sugar and arrange peaches evenly over melted butter.
  3. Mix flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar in a bowl.
  4. Stir in milk just until combined to form a thick batter.
  5. Spoon batter evenly over peaches without stirring.
  6. Bake 35–40 minutes until golden and bubbly. Cool slightly before serving.
