- Lay bacon strips on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Lightly dust both sides with all-purpose flour using a fine mesh sieve.
- Refrigerate uncovered overnight to dry the surface and firm the fat.
- Bake at 400°F (205°C) for 15–20 minutes until deeply crisp and golden.
- Flip in the final minutes if desired, then drain on paper towels or a rack.
