  • 2 cans lemon pie filling (21 oz each)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened and cubed
  • 1 box yellow or vanilla cake mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Spread lemon pie filling evenly across the bottom of the dish.
  3. Scatter softened cream cheese cubes evenly over the lemon filling.
  4. Sprinkle dry cake mix over the top, covering the filling completely.
  5. Drizzle melted butter evenly over the cake mix. Bake 40–45 minutes until golden and bubbling.
