  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 0.75 cup granulated sugar
  • 0.25 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2.5 cups quick oats
  • 0.5 tsp sea salt

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Stir in sugar, milk, and caramel sauce.
  2. Bring mixture to a gentle boil, stirring constantly, then remove from heat.
  3. Stir in vanilla and oats until well coated.
  4. Drop spoonfuls onto parchment paper and sprinkle with sea salt.
  5. Let cookies set at room temperature or chill until firm.
