Ingredients
  

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 12–15 pieces mini Reese’s peanut butter cups

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet.
  2. Cream butter and sugars until fluffy, then mix in egg and vanilla.
  3. Whisk dry ingredients and add to wet mixture. Fold in chocolate chips.
  4. Scoop dough, press a Reese’s cup into each, and shape dough around it.
  5. Bake 10–12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool slightly before serving.
