Ingredients
  

  • 2 cans refrigerated pie crusts (15 oz each)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 0.5 lb Italian sausage, casings removed
  • 1 cup bell peppers, diced
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.5 cup pepperoni, chopped
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F and grease a deep baking dish.
  2. Press one pie crust into the bottom and sides of the dish and prick the bottom with a fork.
  3. Brown ground beef and sausage in a skillet, then drain excess fat.
  4. Add vegetables, sauce, and seasonings to the skillet and simmer briefly.
  5. Transfer filling to crust, top with cheeses and pepperoni, and bake until golden and bubbly.
