Ingredients
  

  • 1 package sweet roll dough
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed (optional)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 large egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange dough on baking sheet and gently shape to create space for filling.
  3. Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, vanilla, and salt until smooth.
  4. Spoon filling evenly onto the dough.
  5. Brush exposed dough with egg wash and add optional toppings.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set. Cool slightly before serving.
