- Season beef with salt and pepper. Brown in hot oil until seared. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté mushrooms until browned. Add onion and garlic and cook until soft.
- Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir to coat evenly.
- Gradually add milk while stirring to form a smooth gravy.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce, thyme, and paprika. Simmer until thickened.
- Return beef to the skillet and simmer briefly until heated through.
