Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 3/4 cup 7-Up soda
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet.
  2. Whisk flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt in a bowl.
  3. Cut cold butter into dry ingredients until crumbly.
  4. Stir in 7-Up and optional lemon zest until dough forms.
  5. Pat dough, cut biscuits, and place on baking sheet.
  6. Bake 12–15 minutes until golden. Serve warm.
