- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour cake pans.
- In a bowl, whisk flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, mix melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and milk. Add to dry ingredients and stir until smooth.
- Pour batter into prepared pans and bake 25–30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
- Mix powdered sugar, mashed strawberries, lemon juice, and water until smooth.
- Pour glaze over cooled cake and allow to set before serving.
