Ingredients
  

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon (for swirl)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x5-inch loaf pan.
  2. Whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl.
  3. Mix eggs, sugar, applesauce, oil, and vanilla until smooth.
  4. Fold dry ingredients into wet ingredients until just combined.
  5. Combine brown sugar and cinnamon for the swirl.
  6. Layer batter and cinnamon sugar in the pan, then gently swirl.
  7. Bake for 50–55 minutes until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  8. Cool before slicing and serving.
