Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup mashed ripe bananas
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped walnuts (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet.
  2. Mash bananas and mix with sugars, egg, and vanilla.
  3. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt, then gently mix into wet ingredients.
  4. Fold in optional add-ins if using.
  5. Drop spoonfuls onto baking sheet and bake 12–15 minutes until set.
