Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts or thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Season chicken with salt and pepper and cook in olive oil until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in the same skillet and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add chicken broth and simmer, scraping up browned bits.
  4. Stir in cream, seasoning, and Parmesan. Simmer until smooth.
  5. Return chicken to skillet and simmer briefly before serving.
