Method
 

  1. Flatten bread slices gently with a rolling pin.
  2. Place sausage on bread and roll tightly.
  3. Whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Dip roll-ups briefly into egg mixture.
  5. Cook roll-ups in buttered skillet until golden on all sides.
  6. Optional: Finish in oven at 375°F until heated through.
