Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup heavy cream, cold
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 tablespoons cream cheese (optional)

Method
 

  1. Chill mixing bowl and beaters for 5–10 minutes.
  2. Add heavy cream, powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt to bowl.
  3. Beat on medium speed until soft peaks form.
  4. Increase speed and whip until stiff peaks form.
