Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups whole milk
  • 2 tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice
  • 0.25 tsp salt (optional)

  • Colander
  • Cheesecloth or towel

Method
 

  1. Heat milk to just below boiling, stirring occasionally.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in vinegar until curds form.
  3. Let rest for 5–10 minutes to allow curds to set.
  4. Strain through cheesecloth and drain to desired texture.
