Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tbsp honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sesame oil
  • 0.5 cup chicken broth
  • 1.5 tsp freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast, sliced
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 2 stalks green onions, sliced

Method
 

  1. Whisk soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, honey, sesame oil, chicken broth, and black pepper in a bowl.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
  3. Add remaining oil. Sauté onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet. Pour in sauce and simmer until thickened. Garnish with green onions and serve.
