Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 egg, beaten for egg wash
  • to taste powdered sugar

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix cream cheese, ricotta, sugar, egg yolk, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Roll puff pastry, cut into squares, and fold corners toward center.
  4. Add cheese filling to center and brush edges with egg wash.
  5. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden and puffed. Cool slightly before serving.
