Easy pecan pie bars with a buttery shortbread crust and gooey pecan filling.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 12 oz prepared pecan pie filling
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chopped pecans

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and line an 8x8-inch pan with parchment paper.
  2. Mix flour, melted butter, sugar, and salt and press into pan.
  3. Spread pecan pie filling over crust and sprinkle with chopped pecans.
  4. Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and set.
  5. Cool completely before slicing and serving.
