Ingredients
  

  • 12 mozzarella string cheese sticks
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup Italian-seasoned breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup crushed tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

Method
 

  1. Set up breading station with flour, eggs, and seasoned breadcrumbs.
  2. Coat mozzarella sticks in flour, egg, breadcrumbs, then repeat egg and breadcrumbs.
  3. Freeze breaded sticks for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Fry sticks in 350°F oil for 1–2 minutes until golden.
  5. Prepare marinara and creamy dip while sticks cool slightly, then serve.
