A crunchy, cheesy taco salad loaded with seasoned beef, fresh vegetables, creamy salsa dressing, and crushed Doritos.

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lb lean ground beef
  • 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 1 bag Doritos Nacho Cheese chips
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup salsa
  • 1 head iceberg lettuce chopped
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 can sliced black olives drained

Method
 

  1. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet and drain excess fat.
  2. Add taco seasoning and water, then simmer until thickened.
  3. Mix sour cream and salsa in a bowl until smooth.
  4. Place lettuce in a large serving bowl.
  5. Add beef, tomatoes, olives, and cheese.
  6. Crush Doritos and add immediately before serving.
  7. Drizzle dressing over the salad and toss gently.
  8. Serve immediately while crunchy.
