Ingredients
  

  • 1 box (3.4 oz) instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1 can (20 oz) crushed pineapple, undrained
  • 1 container (8 oz) whipped topping, thawed
  • 1 1/2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup chopped strawberries
  • 1/2 cup chopped maraschino cherries
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
  • chocolate syrup for drizzling (optional)

Method
 

  1. In a large bowl, mix pudding mix with crushed pineapple, including juice, until thickened.
  2. Fold in whipped topping until smooth.
  3. Add mini marshmallows, banana slices, strawberries, cherries, and nuts if using. Stir gently.
  4. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  5. Top with extra cherries, nuts, or chocolate syrup before serving.

Notes

Add banana slices right before serving to prevent browning. Other fruits like blueberries or grapes can be swapped in.
