How to Make Easy Sausage and Bean Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the brown rice according to the package instructions and set it aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sausage, salsa, cumin, chili powder, cooked rice, black beans, and diced tomatoes. Sprinkle in 1 cup of cheese and gently stir everything together until well mixed.
  4. Spray a 9x13-inch casserole dish with non-stick spray. Spread your delicious rice mixture evenly in the dish, then top with the remaining cheese.
  5. Place the casserole in the preheated oven and bake for 15–20 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
