Instructions
  1. Preheat your air fryer to 380°F (193°C) for even cooking.
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to about 1/2 inch thickness.
  3. Prepare a breading station with breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in one dish, and olive oil in another for the chicken.
  4. Bread the chicken by dipping each breast into the olive oil and then pressing it into the breadcrumb mixture.
  5. Place the breaded chicken in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer; it should read 165°F (74°C).
  7. Top the cooked chicken with marinara sauce and shredded mozzarella cheese, then air fry for an additional 3-5 minutes.
  8. Allow the chicken to rest for a couple of minutes before serving.
