Method

How to Make Easy Brussels Sprouts and Bacon
  1. Chop the bacon into small pieces, fry them in a skillet over medium-high heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
  2. Transfer the cooked bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to absorb excess grease, leaving the grease in the pan for the sprouts.
  3. Add halved Brussels sprouts to the skillet and stir to coat in the bacon grease.
  4. Cover the pan with a lid to help steam the sprouts. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for about 5 minutes until they start to soften.
  5. Return the crispy bacon to the skillet with the Brussels sprouts and cook uncovered for another 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally until tender and browned.
  6. Season with salt and pepper if desired and serve hot from the skillet.
