How to Make
  1. Thinly slice the beef sirloin against the grain.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, onion powder, black pepper, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Place the sliced beef into the crockpot and pour the sauce over it. Cover and cook on low for about 4-5 hours.
  4. In the last 30 minutes of cooking, gently stir in the broccoli florets.
  5. Mix cornstarch with a little reserved cooking liquid to create a slurry and stir it back into the crockpot for an additional 10-15 minutes.
  6. Serve over rice and garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
