How to Make
- Thinly slice the beef sirloin against the grain.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the beef broth, soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil, onion powder, black pepper, ground ginger, and red pepper flakes. Whisk until smooth.
- Place the sliced beef into the crockpot and pour the sauce over it. Cover and cook on low for about 4-5 hours.
- In the last 30 minutes of cooking, gently stir in the broccoli florets.
- Mix cornstarch with a little reserved cooking liquid to create a slurry and stir it back into the crockpot for an additional 10-15 minutes.
- Serve over rice and garnish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
