  • 1/2 cup Flour substitute with gluten-free flour
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts or Pecans or use almonds or hazelnuts
  • 1/2 cup Additional Brown Sugar adjust to taste
  • 4 tbsp Melted Butter coconut oil can be used as a replacement
  • 1/4 tsp Sea Salt

How to Make Buttery Sweet Potato Casserole
  1. Peel and cube sweet potatoes. Boil in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes, then drain and set aside.
  2. Mash the cooked sweet potatoes until smooth and creamy.
  3. Whisk together eggs, brown sugar, melted butter, whole milk, and sea salt until smooth.
  4. Fold wet mixture into mashed sweet potatoes.
  5. Combine flour, chopped walnuts, additional brown sugar, melted butter, and sea salt until crumbly.
  6. Pour sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle nut topping over it.
  7. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
