How to Make Buttery Sweet Potato Casserole
- Peel and cube sweet potatoes. Boil in salted water until fork-tender, about 15-20 minutes, then drain and set aside.
- Mash the cooked sweet potatoes until smooth and creamy.
- Whisk together eggs, brown sugar, melted butter, whole milk, and sea salt until smooth.
- Fold wet mixture into mashed sweet potatoes.
- Combine flour, chopped walnuts, additional brown sugar, melted butter, and sea salt until crumbly.
- Pour sweet potato mixture into a greased baking dish and sprinkle nut topping over it.
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and bake for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
