- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- Tear large croissants into bite-sized pieces and distribute them evenly in the baking dish. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the croissant pieces.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together whole milk, large eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture over the croissants. Gently press down to ensure they soak up the custard.
- Let your creation rest for about 10–15 minutes for the custard to absorb.
- Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, until golden brown on top.
- Allow it to cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve with fresh berries or whipped cream.
