Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  2. Tear large croissants into bite-sized pieces and distribute them evenly in the baking dish. Sprinkle semi-sweet chocolate chips over the croissant pieces.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together whole milk, large eggs, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture over the croissants. Gently press down to ensure they soak up the custard.
  5. Let your creation rest for about 10–15 minutes for the custard to absorb.
  6. Bake uncovered for 45–50 minutes, until golden brown on top.
  7. Allow it to cool slightly, dust with powdered sugar, and serve with fresh berries or whipped cream.
