  • 1/2 cup Oil vegetable or canola recommended
For the Soaking Mixture
  • 1 can Sweetened Condensed Milk no substitutes advised
For the Creamy Layers
  • 3 cups Whipped Cream store-bought or homemade
  • 1/2 cup Caramel Syrup ideal for this trifle
For the Crunch Factor
  • 1 cup Heath English Toffee Bits can swap for chocolate or almond bits
  • 1/2 cup Crushed Heath Bars can use chocolate-covered toffee candies

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and mix cake ingredients as per box instructions.
  2. Bake for 30-35 minutes until moist and fluffy, let cool slightly.
  3. Cut the cooled cake into bite-sized squares.
  4. Soak the cake squares with sweetened condensed milk.
  5. Layer 1/3 of soaked cake in the trifle bowl.
  6. Add 1/3 whipped cream, 1/3 caramel syrup, and toffee bits.
  7. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, topping with crushed Heath bars.
  8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
