  • 1/2 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce or tamari/coconut aminos for gluten-free
  • 1/3 cup Honey
  • 1/4 cup Ketchup or hoisin/BBQ sauce
  • 4 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Ginger grated
  • 1 tsp Red Pepper Flakes optional
For Thickening
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch

Cooking Instructions
  1. Layer the chicken thighs in the slow cooker.
  2. Whisk together the soy sauce, honey, ketchup, garlic, apple cider vinegar, and ginger.
  3. Pour the prepared sauce over the chicken thighs.
  4. Cook on high for 3.5 hours or on low for 6-8 hours.
  5. Mix the cornstarch with cold water; then add to the slow cooker.
  6. Let cook on high for an additional 15 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  7. Shred the chicken with two forks if desired and serve warm.
