How to Make McGriddle Bites
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and grease a mini muffin pan.
- Cook the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until browned and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
- Mix the pancake mix, water, and maple syrup in a large bowl until just combined.
- Fold in the cooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese.
- Spoon the batter into each muffin cup, filling them about three-quarters full.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown and set in the center.
- Cool slightly before serving warm, optionally with extra maple syrup drizzled on top.
