Method

Cooking Steps
  1. Marinate the Chicken: In a large bowl, combine the chicken thighs, salt, garlic powder, sweet paprika, curry powder, and Greek yogurt. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Cook the Chicken: Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook until golden brown, about 8-10 minutes. Remove the chicken and set it aside.
  3. Prepare the Sauce Base: In the same skillet, lower the heat and add butter. Once melted, sauté the minced garlic and chopped onion until the onion turns translucent.
  4. Build the Sauce: Stir in tomato sauce and sugar, simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens. Return the chicken and pour in heavy cream.
  5. Season and Simmer: Sprinkle in cayenne pepper, garam masala, and black pepper. Simmer on low for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Finish the Sauce: Stir in remaining butter until melted. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  7. Serve: Dish out your Butter Chicken and serve it hot with naan or rice.
