Cooking Instructions
  1. Begin by trimming any excess fat from the beef stew meat. Season generously with salt and black pepper to enhance the natural flavors.
  2. In your slow cooker, combine the seasoned beef with the dry onion soup mix, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth. Stir everything together until well mixed.
  3. Cover your slow cooker and set it to low heat. Let the beef tips cook for 5-6 hours, or 3-4 hours on high, until the beef is tender and easily pulls apart with a fork.
  4. During the last hour of cooking, mix cornstarch with a small amount of the cooking liquid until smooth. Stir this mixture back into the slow cooker to help thicken your gravy.
  5. Once done, serve the hearty beef tips over egg noodles, rice, or creamy mashed potatoes for a truly satisfying meal.
