How to Make One Pan Smothered Pork Chops
- Prepare Spice Mix: Mix salt, pepper, garlic powder, smoked paprika, and onion powder. Rub onto both sides of each pork chop.
- Sear Pork Chops: Heat canola oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops for about 2 minutes on each side until browned. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Sauté Vegetables: Add sliced onion and colored peppers into the same skillet. Sauté for about 4-5 minutes until tender and fragrant.
- Combine and Cook: Nestle pork chops back into the pan, drizzle BBQ sauce and ranch dressing, sprinkle cheese on top, cover, and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes until cooked through.
- Serve: Plate pork chops immediately, garnishing with sliced green onions.
