Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and panko. Set aside.
- In a separate bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in eggs and vanilla until fully incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, stirring until a soft dough forms.
- Fold in your favorite optional mix-ins.
Baking
- Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until the edges are golden and crisp.
- Transfer to a cooling rack to cool.

Notes
