Ingredients

For the sandwiches
  • 48 pieces Ritz crackers
  • 8 slices deli ham, sliced into quarters
  • 8 slices Swiss cheese, sliced into quarters
For the butter glaze
  • 4 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon poppy seeds
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried minced onion

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil for easy cleanup.
  2. Cut the ham and cheese slices into quarters so they fit neatly between two crackers.
  3. Lay 24 crackers flat-side down on the baking sheet. Top each with one slice of ham and one slice of Swiss cheese.
  4. Place another cracker on top (flat-side up) to form a mini sandwich.
Butter Glaze
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, poppy seeds, and dried minced onion.
Baking
  1. Using a pastry brush, generously coat the tops of the sandwiches with the butter mixture.
  2. Bake at 350°F for 10–12 minutes, or until the cheese is melty and the crackers are golden and fragrant.
  3. Let cool for 1–2 minutes, then serve warm.
