  • 1/4 cup sour cream adds smoothness and tang

  • 2 pieces fresh jalapeños, finely chopped remove seeds for mild heat, keep them for extra spice
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • Salt, to taste
The Cheesy Kick
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese optional: add Monterey Jack or mozzarella for extra stretchiness
The Finishing Touches
  • 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley or cilantro for a fresh herbal note
  • Crispy bacon bits (optional)
  • Smoked paprika (optional)
  • A dash of hot sauce (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Finely chop the jalapeños. For a milder dip, remove seeds before chopping.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sour cream, and Greek yogurt (if using). Beat until smooth and fluffy.
  3. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, lemon juice, and jalapeños.
  4. Fold in shredded cheddar cheese.
Baking (Optional)
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Transfer dip mixture to an oven-safe dish and smooth the top.
  2. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  3. Top with extra cheese and chopped herbs before serving.
