Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef Cooked until browned and drained.
  • ½ lb cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese For a gooey texture.
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese For a gooey texture.
  • ½ cup cream cheese Melted over low heat.
  • ½ cup sour cream
  • ½ cup milk To thin the dip.
  • 1 tablespoon taco seasoning Adjust for spice preference.
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste Salt and pepper For seasoning.
  • Tortilla chips for dipping To serve with.

Method
 

Cooking the Beef
  1. In a skillet, heat over medium and cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Stir in taco seasoning, garlic powder, and onion powder until combined. Set aside.
Making the Cheese Sauce
  1. In a medium saucepan, melt cream cheese over low heat.
  2. Once creamy, stir in sour cream and milk until smooth.
  3. Gradually add cheddar and mozzarella cheese, stirring until fully melted.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Fold in cooked beef and crumbled bacon into the cheesy mixture. Stir to combine.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Serving
  1. Transfer to a serving bowl while still hot and serve with tortilla chips.
