Ingredients

Smoothie Ingredients
  • 1 cup fresh or frozen strawberries (hulled)
  • ½ piece banana for natural sweetness
  • ¾ cup milk dairy or plant-based
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt or plain yogurt
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup optional
  • ½ cup ice cubes if using fresh strawberries
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract optional for flavor

Method

Preparation
  1. Wash and hull the strawberries. If using frozen ones, let them soften for a couple of minutes so they blend more easily. Slice the banana and get everything ready on your counter.
  2. Place the strawberries, banana, yogurt, milk, honey, and vanilla extract into your blender. Add ice cubes for a thicker, frostier texture.
Blending
  1. Blend on high speed for 30–45 seconds until the mixture is perfectly smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides if needed to make sure everything blends evenly.
  2. Taste your smoothie! Add more honey if you prefer it sweeter, or a splash of milk if it’s too thick. Blend again for a few seconds until it’s just right.
Serving
  1. Pour your smoothie into a tall glass. Garnish with fresh strawberry slices or a mint leaf for that café-style finish.
  2. Take a sip — it’s pure sunshine in a glass!

Notes

For extra creaminess, add a spoonful of nut butter or half an avocado. Want it dairy-free? Use almond milk or coconut milk instead.
