How to Make Baked Spaghetti Casserole
  1. Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C) to ensure even baking.
  2. Cook the spaghetti according to package directions until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  3. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Add minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, stirring for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Incorporate spaghetti sauce and diced tomatoes and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Gently fold cooked spaghetti into the sauce mixture, adding reserved pasta water to combine everything.
  5. Spread the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top. Bake uncovered for 30 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
