- Heat milk, lemon zest, sugars until steaming.
- Whisk egg yolks and cornstarch until smooth.
- Temper yolks with hot milk, then return to saucepan.
- Whisk over medium heat until thickened.
- Remove from heat and whisk in lemon juice and condensed milk.
- Pour into serving dishes and serve warm or chilled.
