Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups crushed vanilla wafers or graham crackers
  • 6 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tbsp sugar (optional)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream, whipped
  • 1 box caramel instant pudding mix
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • 2 tbsp caramel sauce (optional)

Method
 

  1. Mix crushed wafers, melted butter, and sugar. Press firmly into a pie dish and chill.
  2. Beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  3. Fold in whipped cream and spread evenly over the crust.
  4. Whisk pudding mix with cold milk until thick. Stir in caramel sauce if using.
  5. Pour pudding layer over cream layer and smooth the top.
  6. Refrigerate at least 4 hours until fully set. Garnish before serving.
