A quick, creamy pasta made with ground beef, garlic butter, and a silky sauce.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz pasta (penne or rotini)
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup reserved pasta water
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • salt and black pepper to taste

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve pasta water and drain.
  2. Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat and set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet. Add garlic and cook until fragrant.
  4. Stir in cream and reserved pasta water. Add beef back to skillet.
  5. Add pasta and toss to coat. Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan and parsley.
